In Every Corner Sing - an interview with the Editor
In this podcast Geoff Weaver speaks about his new book of Christian songs from around the world, In Every Corner Sing, published by the RSCM. He discusses the relevance of these songs, not only in their original context, but to all who sing them.
Geoff worked for the Church Missionary Society around the world, including Hong Kong, the Phillippines and Nigeria. He took a particular interest in the music people were making in their own situations, leading to the two volumes of World Praise that he published in 1993/94.
In Every Corner Sing contains accessible arrangements for congregations, choirs and singing groups of songs that Geoff has collected from around the world, along with a CD of backing tracks to enable them to be sung with some authentic flavour!
