God of the Empty Space - modern-day church music for choir and congregation

This podcast features God of the Empty Space; a collection of seventeen new songs and choral pieces by John Pantry, published by the RSCM. Also taking part is Chris Norton, who arranged John’s songs for choir and congregation, keyboards and guitar. The music is taken from the CD of the same name, performed by Adoramus, conducted by David Hooke, with vocals from John Pantry himself and Ingrid DuMosch, produced by Chris Norton and John Pantry and published by Kingsway Music www.kingsway.co.uk.
John Pantry presents the Breakfast programme on Premier Christian Radio. He’s also an ordained priest. Chris Norton, originally from New Zealand and now living in London and Yorkshire, is well-known as an arranger.
The music in this collection provides musical settings for all sung parts of the Communion service, together with canticles for Morning and Evening Prayer. Other songs are based on scriptural texts, while others explore themes such as Creation. The book includes complete choral arrangements and compatible versions for congregation and keyboard and/or guitar. Churches with a CCLE Music Reproduction Licence can make photocopies of songs for choral singing.
MP3 backing tracks from the CD are available from www.christophernortonpublishing.com
