RSCM singing awards
Diocesan Festival Service – Chester Cathedral – Saturday September 30th, 2017 directed by Philip Rushforth. The organist will be Rachel Mahon.
Area rehearsals will be Thursday 14th September (7.30 – 9.15) at St. Mary’s, Nantwich (CW5 5RQ), Wednesday 20th September (7.30 – 9.15) at St. Peter’s Heswall (CH60 0DZ) and at St. Anne’s Sale (M33 3GD) on Thursday 28th September (7.30-9.15). The cost is £1 per attendee. Books will be available for sale at all Area Rehearsals, if necessary.
On the 30th, please assemble by 1.30 for a rehearsal 2-4 pm followed by the service at 5.30. The refectory will be open for refreshments until 4.30 pm but it is not possible to eat any pre-packed food you have brought with you in here. The cloisters can be used for this purpose. RSCM Awards will be presented during the service after the anthem and presented by the Dean of Chester and the Bishop of Stockport as appropriate.
We look forward to seeing as many people as possible on the day. Both robed and non-robed choirs are welcome.
