An event aimed at choirs which will explore the resources of The Cross of Christ (Old Edition/2010 edition) and other resources from Season by Season for Passiontide to Easter. This is both an event in its own right and linked to the event to take place on 18 March 2018.

Event for singers and instrumentalists led by Miles Quick (RSCM Head of Congregational and Instrumental Music) and Tim Martin (Musicademy tutor).

Exploring a wide repertoire of music for mixed instrumental groups and voices, how to blend modern and traditional styles, using Iona and Taizé music in different contexts, teaching new repertoire, improvisation, selecting new material, and finding and nurturing new musicians.

Explore the music for the festival as a whole choir under the inspiring leadership of Daniel Cook. In this service, we will focus on the word ‘Peace’. We will thank God for the peace of 100 years ago; we will continue to pray and strive for a lasting peace in our world, as well as praying for the “peace that passeth all understanding”.  Music by Madden, Archer, Boyle and Sumsion.
