Advent Sequence: Veni Emmanuel

In this podcast, the composer and conductor David Ogden and The Revd Peter Moger, National Worship Development Officer to the Liturgical Commission of the Church of England, discuss their latest collaboration; The Advent Sequence, published by the RSCM.
David Ogden is a well-known composer and conductor, not least of the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir. Before his appointment to the Liturgical Commission, Peter Moger was Precentor of Ely Cathedral. The Advent Sequence is their second compilation for the RSCM; they also produced the successful Passiontide sequence The Way of the Cross, published in 2007.

It will provide all you need for an Advent carol service, including hymns and readings, and a wide range of choral resources, all in one convenient book. Congregational items include established Advent hymns and contemporary worship songs.
