Dr Stanley Vann's 100th birthday

Many congratulations to Dr Stanley Vann, who celebrates his 100th birthday on 15th February 2010. Dr Vann was Master of the Music at Peterborough Cathedral from 1953 to 1977.

BBC Radio 3 will broadcast choral evensong from Peterborough on Wednesday 24th February 2010 at 4.00pm, with the cathedral choir conducted by Andrew Reid. The programme will include some of Stanley's music. It will be repeated on Sunday 28th February, and can be heard online via the webpage at www.bbc.co.uk.
