Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim basic-rate income tax on donations from Individual Members above the subscription amount shown above, if you complete a Gift Aid Declaration. This does not cost you any more but it means that each £25.00 donated is currently worth £32.00 to the RSCM. You can download a Gift Aid form below, or tick the relevant Gift Aid box on the application form.
Gift Aid Notes:
- You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the RSCM.
- You must be a taxpayer paying an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to that the charity reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).
- If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
- If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
- If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, ask the RSCM or your local tax office for advice.
- Please notify the RSCM if you change your name or address, or no longer pay tax as specified above.

Friends of the RSCM (the RSCM Annual Fund)
Through the gifts of our Friends and other individual donors, we are able to introduce more and more people to the joy, meaning and beauty that music brings to worship.
We thank our Friends and major donors with a year's subscription to Church Music Quarterly and The Network which lists RSCM events (UK and Ireland only). You may also choose to subscribe to the free email newsletter, and may be invited to RSCM Friends events throughout the year. Founder's Circle donors additionally receive a certificate and a small gift as a sign of our appreciation.
Friends may give to the RSCM at several levels, or an amount of their own choosing:
