UK Membership
Details of affiliation, individual membership, student/junior memberships and Friends of the RSCM in the UK (including Northern Ireland), the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can be found here.

Affiliation
Churches, schools and community choirs are invited to affiliate to the RSCM. This type of membership is for organisations who wish to play an active part in our work.
Affiliation attracts the following benefits:
- Free subscription to two copies of Church Music Quarterly, the most popular magazine dedicated to church musicians, offering a mix of news, features, recommendations and reviews.
- Free subscription to the RSCM Newsletter, full of the latest news from around the RSCM.
- Free subscription to two copies of Sunday by Sunday, the RSCM liturgy planner, which gives week-by-week guidance on choosing music throughout the year
- Two copies of the RSCM Handbook, full of useful information for the church musician
- 25% discount on copies of RSCM publications bought through RSCM Music Direct
- Discount for places on nationally-organised RSCM residential courses
- Discount on choir robes from J Wippell & Co., and Watts & Company
- Advice and support through our network of local committees
- The Network – information on locally-organised events and courses (most are discounted to RSCM members)
- Recommended fees for church musicians (updated annually) - available on request. (Non-members should apply to purchase them from the Incorporated Society of Musicians, where standard organist contracts are also available; details are on their Information Sheets page.)

Individual Membership
As an individual you may wish to join the RSCM and to play a full and active part in our work.
Full Individual membership provides the following benefits:
- Free subscription to a single copy of Church Music Quarterly, the most popular magazine dedicated to church musicians, offering a mix of news, features, recommendations and reviews
- Free subscription to the RSCM Newsletter, full of the latest news from around the RSCM
- Free subscription to a single copy of Sunday by Sunday, the RSCM liturgy planner, which gives week-by-week guidance on choosing music throughout the year

Student and Junior Membership
Student and Junior (under 18) memberships are available at substantially reduced rates. These members receive:
- Church Music Quarterly (including the RSCM Newsletter)
- 25% discount on single copies of RSCM publications bought through RSCM Music Direct
- Discount for single places on centrally-organised RSCM residential courses
- The opportunity to enter for RSCM Bronze, Silver and Gold singing awards
- Advice and support through our network of local committees
- The Network – information on locally-organised events and courses (most are discounted to RSCM members)

Friends of the RSCM
If you want to support us in our work but do not wish to become a full Individual Member, you can become a Friend of the RSCM.
As a Friend you will receive Church Music Quarterly and the RSCM Newsletter each quarter to keep you informed as to what we are doing. Friends also receive The Network which gives details of locally-organised events. Many Friends support our work further by organising fund-raising activities.

Gift Aid (Friends of the RSCM – UK taxpayers only)
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim basic-rate income tax on your Friends subscription if you complete a Gift Aid Declaration. This does not cost you any more but it means that your subscription of £25.00 at the current rate of tax is currently worth £32.00 to the RSCM. You can download a Gift Aid form below, or tick the Gift Aid box on the application form and we will send you a copy. (Gift aid is not applicable to Individual members or Affiliates since they receive benefits of membership.)

Download an application form for Affiliation, Individual Membership, Student/Junior Memberships or Friend of the RSCM. If you would like to set up a Direct Debit Instruction to pay your membership renewal fee please follow the link below. We can offer a £5 discount on membership for Affiliates paying by direct debit, and a £2 discount for Individual Members.
N.B. For Affiliates, two correspondents will receive Church Music Quarterly, Sunday by Sunday, and other correspondence. The billing contact will receive invoices and membership renewal requests.
