Carol Service

Are you looking for inspiration to refresh your Christmas carol services this year?

Issue 49 of Sunday by Sunday includes the RSCM Carol Service, a new liturgy devised by Peter Moger and Tim Ruffer, with suggestions for choir and congregational carols from The RSCM Carol Book.

In its seasonal resource book Common Worship: Times and Seasons, the Church of England offers three patterns of Christmas Carol Service, one with the nine-lesson scheme from King's College, Cambridge, one with seven lessons and another with six.  The RSCM Carol Service provides a further option to add to these established resources.
