RSCM Scotland Triennial Festival 2006

The 2006 Scottish Triennial Festival was at St Michael's Church, Linlithgow on Saturday 4 November.

Key people

The preacher for this three-yearly celebration of the life and work of the RSCM in Scotland is Dr Stewart Gillan, Minister at Linlithgow Church. He will be accompanied by a number of clergy from Linlithgow and around Scotland.

The Festival will include the work of three excellent musicians (in addition to all the singers!):

Frikki Walker (Organist and Director of Music at St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow), director: whose enthusiasm and very capable gifts is guaranteed to make this day both challenging and immensely enjoyable. We are very grateful to him for stepping in at short notice to replace Gordon Stewart who has now moved to the USA.

Michael Harris (St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh), organist

Edward Caswell (St Margaret's, Newlands, Glasgow) will start the day with some fun warm-ups to get our voices going.

Successful candidates for the St Andrew's singing awards will receive their certificates at this service.

Music book

The choir book is now no longer available.

The music sung is listed below (some of it is available to download).
