Holy Trinity Church, Lyne and Longcross, near Chertsey (Guildford Diocese)

We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Organist and Choir Leader to lead our small and enthusiastic robed choir and play the pipe organ for our main Sunday Service at 10:00am. We are of central traditional and our worship is based upon the Eucharist. A monthly informal, all-age service also plays an important part in our communal life life and worship. Working with the Vicar, we would love to see our ministry in music grow and develop further and although rooted in the choral tradition, we have benefitted from a gentle evolution into more contemporary styles of worship. 

The duties are a weekly Sunday morning service and a weekly choir practice (recently changed from a Thursday evening to a Friday but this is negotiable with the choir) and additional services on an occasional basis. Worplesdon Parish, Guildford

We are a lovely parish on the outskirts of Guildford in Surrey, with two church buildings, committed choir and festival singers, and a small group of instrumentalists ready for new challenges.  We have two manual organs in the parish; one pipe, one electronic.  We are RSCM affiliated.

St Mary’s Cathedral are seeking an experienced organist to support the Director of Music to enrich the musical worship of the Cathedral.

An annual fee of £8,000 is payable and covers attendance at the Saturday Vigil at 6pm, Sunday services at 9am and 12 pm, choir rehearsals and other key services during the year. Wedding and funeral fees would be paid in addition to this as undertaken.

St Francis Church, Keynsham

is seeking a music leader with keyboard skills (piano, and ideally organ) to take overall responsibility for music during worship, including leading and developing the choir. This entails playing on Sundays (one service) and occasionally midweek, e.g., Ash Wednesday, and practising with the choir on a weekly basis.St Francis Church has an enthusiastic choir of 7 adults, many of whom also play instruments, plus a small worship band. Holy Trinity is very proud of its strong musical tradition and music plays an important part in the life of the church and its distinctive liturgy and style of worship. The Choirs. The Church Choir has traditionally comprised men and boy singers. The decision has now been taken to introduce female voices into the main body of the choir. Thus one of the first tasks of the new Director of Music will be to recruit and introduce girls (up to 16) into the junior choir and ladies voices (altos & tenors) into the adult section. In addition to the regular weekly services, the Church Choir visits a Cathedral during the summer each year to sing the daily services throughout that week.
